The Crossroads Emmaus Community of the New England
Conference is a new place for persons, primarily from Maine, New
Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Connecticut to renew their Christian discipleship.
Pilgrims walk a new road to Emmaus and find their hearts strangely
warmed. At this crossroads a person is lifted up into a grace-filled
life to be lived and shared with others.
Crossroads expresses the idea of hospitality to
all who come, a place of convergence for diverse peoples from a
variety of locations. It also incorporates the cross - the symbol of
Christ and the Christian faith - and the meeting on the road to
Emmaus where Jesus opens the scriptures and reveals himself to those
who seek him.
Walks are held twice a year, once in the Spring
and once in the Fall. The next scheduled dates are:

Locations: the Spring Men's Walk will be held at the
Singing Hills Christian Conference Center in Plainfield, NH (see
directions). The Spring Women's Walk will be held at the Notre Dame
Spiritual Center, Alfred Maine (see
directions). The fourth day gathering will be at
the Eliot UMC, Eliot ME.

Locations: The Fall walks will be held at the Rolling Ridge
Retreat Center Center, North Andover, MA; the fourth day gathering
will be at the Eliot UMC, Eliot ME.
The Fourth Day meeting is for the
pilgrims, their sponsors, and the team members from the last set of
walks. It begins at 10:00 am with singing, worship, and
fellowship. This is an opportunity for pilgrims to share and
to learn more about the Walk to Emmaus. We conclude by noon.
The Gathering is for the
entire Crossroads Emmaus Community and friends from Trés Dias and
Cursillo. We gather at 1:00 p.m. at Eliot for fellowship,
singing, and worship.
